Like Scars Etched Into FleshShe stared up into the darkness, feeling numb, tired, but unable to sleep. Moving only her head she glanced at the clock on her nightstand. Through the red glow she made out the time, 2:46 AM. She would have to get up in two hours, sleep or no sleep, school was awaiting her; but she did not want to face school again.
